Gigue in the dark 2.5
Cancelled
With Gigue in the dark 2.5, BIGICO marks the return of contemporary ‘gigue’ dancing to Québec City. In an empty space, the public is invited to discover fifteen or so choreographic scenes with a supporting narrative. In contrasted light and shadow, the poetry of the ground emerges in rhythms, vibrations, resonances, frictions and evocations.
Fans of sensory experiences will enjoy this journey into a wonderful and sweet darkness inhabited by ghost-dancers and punctuated by light. Gigue in the dark 2.5 is an immersive show that stimulates the imagination and presents the inventiveness of a spirited company of modern ‘gigueurs’.
