De la glorieuse fragilité
The party has already taken place, and the dancers clean up the stage and prepare their bodies to resume the exercise. Inspired by the testimonies and confessions of interpreters who have left the practice, four dancers and a videographer work to honour what those who have left no longer do. A brilliant reflection and celebration of its medium, Glorious Fragility is also a mourning of incredible tenderness. The dancers push themselves into their essential physical and emotional states and reveal a hypervigilance to their partners in their occupation of the space. They fulfil the immensity of this project with vivacity, taking a pleasure in the performance that overflows into the audience. Once again, Karine Ledoyen shows us the intelligence and sensitivity resounds in her choreography.
