Desjardins

Marion Desjardins is originally from Beaumont, resides in Lévis, and works as a photographer in the greater Quebec City area. She holds a college diploma in fashion design from Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy (2008) and a professional diploma in photography from the Centre de formation Maurice-Barbeau (2013). With a diverse professional background, she has been dedicated to highlighting the work of artists and entrepreneurs in the region for over a decade. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to collaborate with organizations such as the École de danse de Québec, the Festival OFF de Québec, the Maison des métiers d’arts de Québec, and the historic and heritage district of Petit Champlain and Place Royale. Her projects span the corporate, event, and artistic sectors. Like her professional assignments, her personal artistic practice is infused with light, authenticity, sensitivity, and movement. Marion has received a grant for the Support and Promotion of Emerging Lévis Artists as well as the Chaudière-Appalaches Emerging Professional Award, presented by the Prix d’excellence en art et culture. She held her first solo exhibition at L’Espace culturel du Quartier Saint-Nicolas in 2023.
