Trained at the Mediterranean Choreographic Center (CCM) in Tunis and a dancer for Nacera Belaza, Meriem holds the Certified Choreographic Artist diploma accredited by the Tunisian Ministry of Culture. Named Best Dancer in 2015 and 2018 at the Tunis Capitale De La Danse Festival, she began her career with the CCM from 2011 to 2016 under the direction of choreographer Imed Jemaa.

She performed in pieces such as Avalanche, Houssa, Public, Diery, Nhar Rah, Hala, and Sala. She has also collaborated with emerging choreographer Marwen Errouine on Nafak, Ras Enahej, Beyta, and Hathla, as well as with choreographer Nejib Ben Khalfallah on his creation Fausse couche, in collaboration with the Tunisian National Theatre.

Since 2019, Meriem has been working with Héla Fattoumi and Eric Lamoureux on the creation #AKZAK.
