Houda Riahi is a dancer, choreographer, performer, and circus artist who has stood out from a young age as a professional gymnast. A multiple medalist for her performances, she saw a future in the arts taking shape. She joined the ENACT (National School of Circus Arts of Tunis) as part of its first graduating class, earning her diploma in 2007. In 2014, she participated in the Apprendre à danser training project led by Malek Sebai in collaboration with the Goethe Institute of Tunis and the Palucca Hochschule Für Tanz Dresden. She also served on the creation assistance commission in 2018.

Since 2018, Houda has been part of the Ballet de l’Opéra de Tunis as a dancer-performer in its founding cohort. She has danced for choreographers Héla Fattoumi and Eric Lamoureux in Bnett Wasla, The Four Seasons by Emilio Calcagno, and various other artistic works. Currently, she is a principal dancer and répétiteur at the Théâtre de l’Opéra de Tunis.

In 2011, Houda created her first dance and circus piece, Insomnie, for the Carthage Dance Days at Mad’art, and has co-written several choreographic works in which she also performed. She is currently finalizing her own choreographic piece, set to debut in 2022.
