Petitclerc
Born in Quebec City, she developed an interest in visual arts at a young age. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Visual and Media Arts from UQAM in 2004. Her artistic approach revolves around various mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and performance. She pursued further studies in scenography at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec, completing them in 2008. She has collaborated with dance artist and choreographer Annie Gagnon, working on several projects, including Cocoon in 2011 and Noire in 2014. She is mainly known for her work as a prop designer in theater, notably at La Bordée and Théâtre du Trident. She also designed two scenographies for the Carrefour international de théâtre in Quebec City for the event Où tu vas quand tu dors en marchant?. She has worked with Le Théâtre du Gros Mécanos, Entr’Actes, Les Violons du Roy, Machine de Cirque, and as an artistic director for the children’s series Les Inventifs by Productions Taiga. She now divides her time between her two passions: teaching art and working in theater.
