Felippe
Martín
Originally from Colombia, Felippe is a director, director of photography, and editor who has been active in the Quebec scene since 2012. Felippe holds a degree in Film Studies from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) as well as a diploma in Lighting and Camera for Film and Television from the Septima Ars School (Madrid, Spain). His work as a director of photography is highly varied, ranging from commercials and feature-length fiction films to documentary series filmed around the globe. As a director, he is particularly drawn to documentaries with an intimate, social, and sometimes anthropological focus. His artistic approach is defined by themes of identity, the sacred, and ritual. He also enriches his practice through active academic research, participating in conferences, and teaching courses in the new Cinema and Digital Culture program at Université Laval.
